Jessie Arbogast, who was just a little kid in 2001, was brutally attacked by a 7-foot (2.1-meter) bull shark. To save Jesse's life, his uncle jumped into the water and started fighting with the shark all the way to the shore. Then a ranger shot the shark so they could cut it open to extract the nephew's chewed off limb for further recovery. The arm was removed from the animal's stomach, put on ice, and then transported quickly to the hospital. Luckily, it was successfully attached back on.
